Shortly after, Akumu is joined by another new recruit.
Trushe the Smeargle isn’t just an artist, he’s also a wizard, who uses his rainbow-coloured paintbrush tail to summon all sorts of useful tools and tricks for his friends. Believing that “one man’s trash is another’s treasure”, Trushe hoards garbage like holy relics, always finding value and purpose for even the most rotten scrap. This often causes him to be ostracised as an outcast by others, but to Trushe, even the worst insults are equivalent to compliments. Some wonder if this is merely a coping strategy to hide the fact he’s really a sensitive, soft-spoken individual, but others point out his manic, chaotic and obsessively creative personality as evidence that his mind isn’t quite all in the right place. Despite this, however, Trushe is incredibly smart and passionately articulate, and is oddly gentle when around other outcasts like him. This combination of friendliness, weirdness, creativity and obsession for trash makes him a perfect member of the Guild, and Trushe immediately accepted the invitation to Team Poisoned Rose without a moment’s thought, instantly adopting a miniature trash-bag with the bio-hazard symbol as his beret, and a badge sporting Jinji’s mischievous grin to his coat as symbols of his loyalty.
