Privacy Policy
The following constitutes the official Privacy Policy for the Mallow the Garbodor official web portal, located at https://mallow.gamescodex.net, as well as any other current and future locations.
Who are we?
The intention of the Mallow the Garbodor site is to provide an official portal for art and stories related to Mallow the Garbodor and provide resources for potential role-play activity and artwork or story commissions now and in the future. Mallow is an original fan-made character who takes the form of a Garbodor, a character from Nintendo’s popular Pokémon franchise described as a “Trash Heap Pokémon”. Due to the nature of this type of character, parts of the character description, settings for stories or artwork, and certain themes explored within the works involving this character, may contain themes that may not be to everyone’s tastes or use types of humour that may be unsuitable for certain environments.
For this reason, when you visit this site for the first time, you will be shown a content warning message making you aware of the above notices. Clicking on the “proceed” button or continuing to visit any other part of our site will cause the Mallow the Garbodor website to store a cookie on your computer. This cookie is used solely to confirm to us that the notice has been read and clicked past, which will be deemed acceptance of the terms and will suppress the warnings from being displayed in future visits, unless the cookie is cleared by you or expires due to the length of time since the last visit.

The originators of the work have created the works for Mallow’s benefit and have granted him an exclusive right to both use and display the works in whatever manner he so chooses. Where possible, Mallow has credited the original artist by whatever name or online moniker they used at the time of creating the work; and this should constitute attribution to the artist where required by relevant copyright law.
Many writings and artworks may use or refer to characters and trademarks under ownership of Nintendo of Japan; Creatures, Inc; GAME FREAK; and/or international subsidiaries of the above. Neither Mallow nor the original creators of any works imply any ownership over such characters, the rights of which remain with their copyright holders. To the best of our knowledge, all artwork featured on the Mallow the Garbodor website utilises custom-drawn renders, vector images, or free-to-use artwork created by a variety of independent artists and is not intended to infringe on any officially licenced artwork; and any references to any trademarked name or imagery is considered to constitute fair use under relevant international laws.
